Munnar - The literal meaning of Munnar is "three rivers". It is the merging place of three streams- Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. It is the most famous hill station in Kerala. Tea plantations spread all over with cute houses make this palce the most attractive tourist destination of Kerala. Neelakkurunji, which blossoms only once in 12 years is yet another attractoin of this place.
Munnar is an ideal place for tourists interested in trekking. South India's highest pesak - Anamudi is situated in Munnar. Paragliding clubs are also here who are really adventurous.

Mattupetty
The Indo –Swiss live stock project which has around 100 varieties of high yeilding cattle is the main attraction of this place.It situated on the top of 1700 Mtrs. Mattupetty is located 13 km from Munnar.
Devikulam
Devikulam is gifted with its greenaries, lawns, breezy hills and rare speices of flora and fauna. Devikulam is gifted with its mineral water lake- Devi lake. The lake is an ideal fishing and picnic spot. Devikulam is located 7 km from Munnar.
Nyayamakad
The Nayamakad water fall is an excellent tourist place. It has an attractive picnic spot and trekking area. The scene of the water cascading from a height of 1.6 Kms above is not a common thing that you can see everywhere. The distance to Nyayamakad is 10 km from Munnar.
Lock Heart Gap
One can have, being at the top of the world feelings from here. This is an ideal place for adventurous people who are interested in trekking. The panoramic view from here is superb. The travel distance to Lock Heart Gap is 13 km from Munnar
Eravikulam National Park
Eravilulam is the only national park in the state. Hill tops dominate this area. This is a best place for adventure filled trekking. Even you can reach the top of Anamudi peak by foot which is 2695 Mts high. The travel by road distance to Eravikulam National Park is 15 km from Munnar.
Marayoor
Marayoor was once the part of the Stone Age civilization dating back to 1000 BC. The dolmens, rock caves or Muniyaras, engravings and rock edicts proclaims its heritage. Its the only place in Kerala with its natural sandalwood forest is situated. This place is not that explored as of now. There are a lot more to be felt in this wonderful place . Serene rivers, cave temples, waterfalls, dense bamboo forests and a lot more. The Marayoor is located 40 kms from Munnar Town.
Top Station
Located 1.7 Kms above from the sea level, Top point gives you the panoramic view of the beautiful places around. Strobilanthus or Nilakurunji that blossoms once in 12 years is seen here. The travel distance to Top Station is 32 kms from Munnar.
Echo Point
Echo point place is noted for its natural phenomenon of echo. The sounds get reflected in the hills from away from this point. The travel distance to Echo Point is 15 km from Munnar.
